IDI Annual Conference 2026

November 2026 · Two days · Open to everyone

Join fellow decontamination specialists to exchange insights, explore innovative techniques and work through real-world challenges together. Expect expert-led demonstrations, interactive breakout sessions and a hall full of industry specialists.

The conference regularly attracts hundreds of specialists, making it one of the most popular decontamination events of the year. Early-bird tickets will be available, and attending makes you a free IDI member.

About the Annual Conference

  1. 1989

    The Irish Association of Sterile Services Managers is established.

  2. 2000

    We become involved in the new decontamination course at the Institute of Technology, Tallaght.

  3. 2002

    We host the EFHSS Conference, welcoming over 300 delegates from around the world.

  4. 2011

    The association becomes the Irish Decontamination Institute.

  5. Today

    Education @ the IDI shares Study Day materials with members and non-members.
