In joining the Irish Decontamination Institute, members undertake to abide by its constitution, regulations and general guidelines. The IDI committee has formulated a code of professional ethics, which is binding on all members.

If you haven't already created an account with our event provider's service, follow the register link in the event description and complete the sign-up process. If you have attended an IDI event in the last couple of years, you can use your existing account.

Meetings and conferences: what to expect
- Ordinary meetings are held at approximately two-monthly intervals.
- All ordinary meetings are held on Thursdays between 11:00 and 13:00, usually in conjunction with an Educational Forum in the afternoon. These meetings are open to IDI members.
- The dates for these meetings are decided in advance at each AGM.
- The AGM takes place in January or February, and members are notified well in advance of the date, time and venue.
- Our conference is held every year. Dates and locations may change each year. There is an attendance fee for this event, and it is open to everyone.
- A full Study Day, aimed at technician and operative grade staff, is held each year.
- Separate Study Days for managers are held annually, for members in supervisory and management positions.
